Ruben Centre is a Faith Based Organization in Mukuru kwa Reuben slums. We are seeking to recruit teachers to work at the Centre’s Primary School. For more information about us, kindly visit our website  www.rubencentre.org

The teachers will be responsible for the moral, mental, intellectual and physical development of the pupils in the School.

Key Responsibilities

  • To teach from Grade 1 to standard 8.
  • Lesson planning and scheming.
  • Assessment of pupils.
  • Preparation of teaching/learning aids.
  • Organization of co-curricular activities.
  • Chairing/participating in subject panels, guidance and counselling/gender issues.
  • Maintaining discipline
  • Other duties pertaining to the welfare of the pupils.
  • Carry out any other additional duties as may be assigned by the Head Teacher and/or the School Administration.

 Required Qualifications:

  • Must have a P1 Certificate;
  • Must have a valid TSC Number;
  • Must have taught for at least 2 years after leaving the college
  • Good communication and leadership skills
  • A foundation of Christian Values
